When you open a Share Dealing Account we generally give you an initial Trading Limit of £10,000, subject to status. This means that you can have up to £10,000 worth of unsettled trades at one time.
Please note your Trading Limit is not a credit facility and you must ensure that cleared funds are in your Cash Management Account or your nominated account to pay for any purchase on the settlement day.
How do I get a higher Trading Limit?
If you hold cash and/or shares in your Direct Trader Share Dealing Account, we may offer you a higher Trading Limit. Call 0870 606 5023 to request an increase.
